I hope everyone is had another great week. I want to share some exciting, upcoming community events.
First, the New Orleans Film Fest will take place from October 8th-15th. Tickets are $9 per show and passes are expensive. So, to avoid all these
fees, you can volunteer and attend for free, YEAH! I'm not sure how many free screenings will be permitted for volunteers but one is better than none. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact Lauren with the NO Film Fest at: lauren@neworleansfilmfest.com.
Second, there are many dance and musical theater performances this season at the Mahalia Jackson Theater of Performing Arts (BROADWAY SOUTH IS BACK!) Tickets can become very expensive, so..once again, if you volunteer to serve as an usher during the show, you can enjoy the performance for free, YEAH!
